With the new musical now playing, it's time to revisit the 1968 movie version of THE NIGHT THEY RAIDED MINSKYS, an amiable if sloppy evocation of the burlesque era, whose plot bears little relation to the stage incarnation. The biggest problem: it’s far too tame for its setting. Burlesque is about dick jokes and titty jiggles. This flick isn’t even mildly risque. — Jeff Schultz
