This is what Despicable Me should have been. A witty movie with hilarious voice work by Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Brad Pitt. More Shrek than Toy Story, Megamind is aimed at kids and parents who can get the “lesson” without having it spoon fed to them in a safe, vanilla, “don't offend the masses” way.
