With the exception of Grown Ups 2, Adam Sandler has a formula that completely works IF you are a fan. Blended looked absolutely horrible from the trailer but it ended up being a very funny and cute Sandler picture. Unlike other comedies (I’m talking to YOU Seth MacFarlane ), Sandler manages to squeeze in bits of seriousness without changing the entire tone (I’m also talking to YOU Seth Rogen!). Sight gags, jokes using music, Kevin Nealon stealing every scene he’s in, and the chemistry between Sandler and Drew Barrymore make this flick one of the most pleasant surprises of the summer.
