AN EDUCATION is a lesson in filmmaking and acting. Carey Mulligan is wonderful as the to eager to grow up Jenny. Heck, the whole damn cast should get nominated! And throw in a screenplay nod for Nick Hornby. Not preachy, but wise in theme, tone and texture. You’d flunk my class if you didn’t go see this film. — Alan Yudman
